And finally, the toasts

The toasts at this wedding were fantastic. And we had what was easily the best best man’s toast/speech we had heard for a long time. What was hilarious was everything he had had to censor out of the speech, CIA style, with long black sharpie marks covering names, places and arrest records of previous antics with the groom. Absolutely brilliant! And then the dancing…

The summer evening light in the northern California wine country really is SO flattering, it’s no surprise that it is a premier wedding destination. And the Viansa Winery in Sonoma really “has it down” (grin)

The best thing about shooting in a winery is the fantastic smell of the wine making. The oaky barrels mixed with the heady flowery aroma really makes a wonderful memory. We wish we had “scent capture” device so we could recreate this here for you!

Super sophisticated Phoenix and New York based couple Randee and Mitch were introduced to us by a client in our commercial photography business. Their wedding was in Sonoma, at the Viansa Winery right by the racetrack. We quite often shoot in northern California as we have family there, and in fact Naomi was born in San Francisco itself. Here are the girls getting ready. Champagne at the ready, ladies!
