There seems to be an astonishing amount of calmness in this room, considering what is going on on this day. 8 camera crews, maybe a total production team of 80 plus, phones constantly ringing, stuff being carried everywhere and an insane schedule that made my eyes water. Here are the groomsmen and Roy, the groom getting their game on before the big moment. And of course a quick interview with them in the next room too

Michelle started and runs an inner city kids club called the ‘Just Us Girls’. Here they are rehearsing dance moves for a show at the El Rey Theater, where we had the delight of seeing a wonderful live performance from American Idol super star
It’s true, you can judge someone on their family and circle of friends. And Michelle and Roy have some really wonderful people in their life. This set of images is from the evening 2 nights before the wedding when the TV company gave the couple an unexpected gift of a rent-free appartment for most of the next year. Everyone was there to celebrate, and there were plenty of joyful and tearful moments.
The groomsmen for ‘Michelle and Roy’s Wedding Day’ were truly stellar fellers. They were easy going, very funny to be around and obviously were all old friends. We didn’t have a shoot scheduled for them, so I just grabbed them in a spare moment and found some great light on the stairs. The last shot of this set is me furiously editing these images to deliver to the production company in time for the overnight printing. Everything in TV land is ‘hurry hurry hurry, now wait…’
